Crosstable of the Foundations class tournament

July 11-15, 2005

Greetings! We have 26 registrants in this first edition of our annual Chess Camp! They are divided into three sections:

1) Foundations class - stressing the way the pieces move, learning notation, practicing the thinking skills necessary to improve at chess, learning basic tactics, openings, endings - hopefully everything the student needs to enjoy chess! Taught by Bob Wilder.

2) Proficiency class - furthering the student's ability to enjoy the game of chess - in home study, casual play, and tournament participation. Taught by Rick Martin.

3) Mastery class - teaching students with a proven track record how to improve on their own. This class will be taught by Fide Master Dave Gertler.
